Please note roads into us via Cawarral are 4WD access only! To avoid disappointment please FOLLOW THE MAP and instructions below, not your GPS which will tell you lies.

We are 4 km from the highway and there is around 3 km of dirt road.We thank you in

advance for driving carefully and considerately for our neighbours and wildlife when coming in to visit us on our dirt road.

Directions from Rockhampton:
Taking the main road into Yeppoon, After the Caltex Petrol Station (also know as the Oaks)  – second on the right into Mackays Rd, then first on right into Mt. Wheeler Rd, we are 3 km along the road number 291

Directions from Yeppoon:
Taking the main road out to Rockhampton, after the Bondoola Golf Driving range, third on the left into Mackays Rd – which is the turn at the very end of the dual carriage way, then first on right into Mt. Wheeler Rd, we are 3 km along the road number 291.

Driving via Cawarral is not the best way, even if you do have 4WD it takes longer as the single track dirt is not maintained.
